iPhone day 3

Still much joy!
Yesterday, I went for lunch in Jubilee Place shopping centre (Canary Wharf) with a friend who also has an iPhone.

iPhone day 2

Yesterday, I took the shiny new toy to work. There is WiFi in the office, but I don’t have access yet, so most of play was over GPRS/EDGE.

Very expensive at £269 + £35/18 months - competing phones are free + cheaper + free toys
O2 [...]

Jobs on Java on iPhone

At the Ultimate iPhone FAQs List, Part 2, Jobs apparently says:

Java’s not worth building in. Nobody uses Java anymore. It’s this big heavyweight ball and chain.

I wonder if he was referring specifically to the iPhone or more generally… and if he’d stopped taking his dried frog pills?
