Yes, I do love the fact that people keep harping on about how the iPhone is behind the times and their N95's are so good and can do everything... and yet I use my iPhone constantly every day for email, surfing, facebook, blogging, twitter, music, maps, video, SMS and phone. The seem to use their phone for the odd text and phonecall. What's the point of banging on about all the things your phone can do if you don't use them!?

It's funny, but even though I (in part) make my living out of Java, I'm kind of glad that Apple haven't sucked up to it.

Sun made such a huge cock-up on desktop Java, it's not even funny, although the ressurection in the form of JavaFX is interesting - in particular the way they're targetting Windows and OS X - not Linux.

Damn... am sounding like an Apple apologist again - at least I'm no longer a Java apologist :)
