]]> By: thetechnobear http://blog.soapyfrog.com/2008/07/12/first-thoughts-on-iphone-20/#comment-87 thetechnobear Sat, 12 Jul 2008 15:00:02 +0000 http://blog.soapyfrog.com/?p=43#comment-87 i found yesterday a big let down from apple, very disappointed :( first, tried to get a 3G iphone, but preorder didnt get fulfilled and despite going to the shop @ 6:30 also didnt managed to get one - looks like could be a few weeks until i get my grubby mits on one! second, what a screw up apple had with mobile me! .mac was down for well over 24 hours , me.com was a disaster for hours when it finally arrived. and in typical .mac fashion, very little info coming from apple about what was going on, and when it would be resolved third me.com, looks nice but is slooowww, (though admittedly now seems to finally getting to usable speed in last few hours).. but even then a bit poor... e.g. address formats only US, germany, france and japan as an apple fan, i reckon to jobs has some a**e kicking to do on monday. im sure come next month, all on the apple ship will be smooth again - lets hope they learn some lessons. i found yesterday a big let down from apple, very disappointed :(
