Went to Beachy Head again yesterday. Didn’t jump off this time either.
Again, a super drive down, and the Blackwall Tunnel wasn’t closed on the way back. Somewhat unsatisfactory food stop at the Birling Gap hotel (and obviously can’t drink), and a short wander around the cliff tops - clear out the cobwebs etc.
We didn’t spend too much time down there, however, as I had to be back by 3pm to do some work.
Seems like I have to punctuate pretty much every weekend these days with some work-related duty, and it’s always at fixed times (host maintenance, server restarts, synchronising check with NY/Tokyo).
Doesn’t feel like I’ve had a proper weekend off.
Hopefully, next weekend, I’ll not have to do anything and can just relax.

Oh, it’s not me thinking of jumping, just that Beachy Head is famous for it.
It must be one of the few places in England where you can drive right up within about 20m of a sheer cliff drop without any kind of fencing and only a few small signs.
Heading down there, though, makes the day quite pleasing, where otherwise, having to work would drag you down.
