It occurred to me this morning that I haven’t been having as many curries as I’d like in recent months. Given my tag line, this is cause for concern.
Oh, the restaurant at work does a fair curry / Asian BBQ from time to time, but I have not been out for one since visiting my brother in Kingston two weeks ago (Monty’s, but that was very good).
Usually, I’d order one in from one of my locals at least once a week, but since the Royal Spice stole my credit card details, I’ve lost my appetite for it (if you’ll excuse the metaphor). The Tale of India is a better place anyway, I think.
Also, this week I’ve been too tired to order in a big curry, and this weekend I’m off to the Lake District, so not sure if there are good options there. Maybe one of these.
Hopefully, more curry-induced ramblings will spring forth as the year progresses.

I know how you feel. There’s _none_ here. Stupid French empire never bothering to rule India for a bit.
Windermere, well Coniston is where most of my family live, don’t recall any amazing curries there. I’ll ask my brother and get back to you

@Richy - yes, the French missed a trick there… always invade countries with good food. Hope your brother comes up with a good suggestion

I see from the menu at work today that it’s the Indian BBQ - so I’ll prob go for that just in case there’s absolutely nothing up north.
