I’ve had Herman for just over a month now and he’s getting a bit dirty.
I can’t easily clean him myself, as there’s no access to water in the underground car park, nor anywhere convenient outside.
So I’ll probably have to take him to a car wash. Or maybe get him valeted. The latter seems like an expensive habit to get into, but I’ve never been through a car wash before, so that’s a bit traumatic. Do cars get scratched? Does the soap do evil things to brakes? Do wipers get broken off?
And where is my nearest reputable facility? OK, so Google can help with these things.
Let the research begin.

I will be willing to undertake the position of official car cleaner for you at the same compensation I got from my soon to be former employers. I shall pass on my CV later
Oh, I can do better than that. I’ll pay you full minimum wage!
We never wash our car (nor previous ones). We do clean out the inside once a year. Outside it gets to a level of dirty then doesn’t proceed beyond that. Doesn’t matter to us - we usually keep the car until it dies before we get a new one. The one that we sold on, we valeted and cleaned before the sale - came up shiny inside and out.
I like to think the dirt gives it extra protection, but actually it’s just laziness.
