First of all, shouldn’t it be: seven things of which I approve?
1. Wife.
Wife is lovely. I wholeheartedly approve of wife.
2. A good staff restaurant with tax free payment scheme.
Sunday roasts every day, if you want. Top curry on Fridays. Huge artery-clogging fry-ups each morning.
Not so keen on Tiffin on Tuesday though.
3. Walking to work.
Kind of offsets item 2. Beats using the tube/train/roads. I also get to walk through a small park and along the river side, which is very relaxing.
4. Business class only airlines
Really, if you’ve got to fly on business, this is the only way.
5. Peace and quite
A rarity in the city, but lovely when found. Related to item 3.
6. Foreign women.
Especially and specifically wife. See item 1.
7. Making lists of things of which I approve
I normally go through life making lists of things I disapprove of, so this is a pleasant change

Items 1 and 6 get my vote too.
Having not met your wife I can’t comment on 1. I don’t approve of all foreign women, there are some I thouroughly dissaprove of. That said there are some I approve of wholeheartedly… like the Queen
