Busy bunny

I’ve been quite busy of late. Still getting to grips with new job, visiting old friends (and their vagrant ducks), catching up with past colleagues and generally having lots to do.
My waistline has expanded without any obvious support from bountiful curry. I suspect the excellent staff restaurant to be the cause.

Mini died

My Mac Mini has died
It failed to boot one day.
Booting from setup disc, then running Disk Utility showed loads of disk errors, and it couldn’t fix them.
Hardware diagnostics said all was OK.
Re-installing didn’t help as disk was still very corrupt.
Single-user mode and several iterations of fsck didn’t fix it.
Ended up repartitioning disk, reinstalling the [...]
