Lighter

Contrary to my expectations, I returned home from my NY trip 0.5kg lighter than when I left.
I feel an immediate curry is in order to redress the balance.

Coming home

So I’m returning home.
Pick up from my office at 7.30pm. The building was quiet in advance of the holiday weekend here in the US, but it was still 90ºF and I wondered if my car would turn up.
Lo! the largest minivan in existence was there with my name written on the side. Hurrah!

I’m still in New York and enjoying the work (honestly) but I do miss home. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure NY is a lovely place, but it’s not the same. I’ve been to NY before so am not particularly interested in sight-seeing, and I’ve watched way too many episodes of Law & Order, CSI:NY, [...]
