I started a new job last week. Thursday to be precise. My first day was a happy occasion. It was a cool sunny day and I walked to the office – no unpleasant commute for me. People, building, lunch, chair…all excellent. The day ended in the pub with my new colleagues.. Certainly one of my best first days.
This new job is a permanent one. For the last 13 years I had been an IT contractor, and have now moved back into the fold. I thought it might be scary, but it has not turned out to be so.
So a new era for me; one that I’m quite looking forward to.
