New Job

St. George’s day

Today (April 23) is St. George’s day.
St. George is the patron saint of England, like Patrick for Ireland, so should be a day of celebration. But it isn’t, which is a shame. Celebrating Englishness is usually frowned upon in England, which is also a shame.

Zoo

Went to the Zoo (London Zoo) yesterday, in part due to the nice weather and in part due to the new Gorilla bit that opened last week. Also in part because I like to support the conservation work they do.
Zoo was very nice, exhibits small, but the cause is good.
